The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of improving the quality of future foreign language teachers’ training using the acmeological approach. In today’s globalized world, where knowledge of foreign languages is critical for professional and personal success, the issue of effective training of teachers who meet modern requirements is becoming increasingly relevant.
The acmeological approach, focused on maximizing the potential of the individual and achieving high levels of professional development, has proven to be an effective tool for improving teacher education. However, the current state of training has revealed a number of problems: insufficient use of innovative technologies, lack of qualified teachers to implement acmeological principles, and lack of clear methodological recommendations for their application.
The analysis of current teacher training has shown that educational programs often focus on the transfer of knowledge and skills, leaving aside important aspects such as the development of critical thinking, creativity and communication skills. According to the acmeological approach, it is necessary not only to improve the professional qualities of future teachers, but also to develop their moral, ethical and social competencies.
Based on the results of the study, practical recommendations were developed to improve the training of future foreign language teachers. The recommendations include: improving the interaction between students and teachers, adapting the content of educational programs to modern professional requirements, actively introducing innovative teaching methods, developing students’ creative potential through the latest pedagogical technologies, and integrating digital competencies into the educational process.
Particular attention is paid to the need to adapt academic disciplines to the conditions of blended and distance learning, which is especially relevant in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies. Recommendations also include creating additional opportunities for self-education, emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development through participation in research and creative activities.
The study opens up new perspectives for studying international experience in applying the acmeological approach in education and developing effective strategies and technologies for selfdevelopment for the professional development of teachers. This will not only improve the quality of training of future foreign language teachers, but also ensure their comprehensive personal development, which is key to successful teaching.
