The role of educational platforms in the formation of primary school students' speech skills

The article examines the role of educational platforms in the formation of primary school students’ speech skills in the context of the modern educational process. The concept of «educational platform» as a digital environment containing interactive learning materials, exercises and communicative tasks aimed at developing students’ speech competencies is considered. The main approaches to the definition of linguistic competence are analyzed, which include the ability of a student to understand oral and written speech, to build their own statements in accordance with the norms of the literary language and to interact effectively in communicative situations.
The relevance of the study is due to the growing role of digital technologies in the educational process and the need to adapt traditional teaching methods to the conditions of the information society.
The use of educational platforms contributes not only to the assimilation of theoretical material, but also creates opportunities for active speech communication of students, which meets the requirements of the New Ukrainian School. The article highlights the popular educational platforms used in teaching primary school students, their functionality and effectiveness in developing speech skills.
The research methodology is based on theoretical analysis of scientific sources, comparative analysis of the functionality of educational platforms and empirical methods, including a survey of teachers about their experience of using digital resources in teaching a foreign language. The peculiarities of integrating digital resources into traditional methods of teaching a foreign language, taking into account the age and psychological and pedagogical characteristics of students, are determined.
Strategies for the use of digital resources in the educational process are proposed, which provide for an individual approach, a balanced combination of traditional and modern teaching methods, as well as systematic monitoring of student progress.
Prospects for further research are to improve methodological approaches to the integration of educational platforms into the primary education system, to develop new learning models based on digital technologies, and to assess their impact on long-term results in the formation of students’ speech competencies.
