Abstract

The article examines the influence of adaptive learning on the development of students’ resilience in wartime conditions, when psychological pressure and stressors increase significantly. In modern conditions, crisis situations require new approaches to the educational process, which ensure not only the assimilation of educational material, but also the support of psychological well-being of students. The purpose of the study was to determine how the individualization of the educational process and the use of modern educational technologies can contribute to increasing the ability of students to adapt to difficult circumstances, maintain psychological stability and ensure personal development.
35 students aged between 20 and 40 of the Department of Practical Psychology of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Dragomanov Ukrainian State University took part in the study, who were evaluated using S. Madi’s method of vitality and Spielberg’s method of diagnosing anxiety. Initial results indicated an average level of vitality and an increased level of anxiety among participants, typical of wartime conditions.
Based on the received data, clear recommendations for adaptive learning were developed and implemented, which included the development of individual learning trajectories, the integration of interactive technologies and the provision of student support. These recommendations were discussed and approved at a meeting of the department of practical psychology, after which they were integrated into the entire educational process. After the implementation of these measures, a re-evaluation was carried out, which showed an increase in viability indicators. In particular, indicators of involvement, control and risk-taking improved, which indicates an increase in students’ motivation and self-confidence.
The authors concluded that adaptive learning can be an effective tool for supporting students in crisis, contributing to their resilience and academic success. Implementation of individualized approaches and modern technologies not only improves educational results, but also develops key personal qualities necessary to overcome stressful situations.
